Top of the Mark’s “Summer Libation Staycation”

Escaping to a tropical destination couldn’t get any easier!

Summer’s here and it’s become increasingly apparent how difficult it is to get away from the office! Need to escape to somewhere tropical? If you’re in the Bay Area then the answer should be “yes”! Join Top of the Mark at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins in San Francisco, CA for their “Summer Libation Staycation”!

Enjoy themed specialty cocktails ($13 each), appetizers ($16 each) and desserts ($9 each). On Sunday and Monday nights guests will automatically be entered to win a 3-night stay at participating resorts, in addition to a $300 travel voucher!

Themed months and offerings are as follows:

July – Puerto Rico

This month’s imbibers will be entered to win a stay at the InterContinental San Juan Resort & Casino, located on two miles of the best beach in San Juan. This resort hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico is a tropical escape with elegant landscaping, waterfalls overlooking the ocean, and a lagoon-style pool. Experience any and all of the five restaurants, unwind in the seclusion of stunning oceanfront suites, or relax at the beachfront spa. Guests can try their luck at the full-service casino or venture out to El Morro Castle in old San Juan. Winners for this 3-night getaway and $300 travel voucher will be selected on August 1, 2013. July’s featured menu is:

Appetizer of the Month – Alcapurrias de Yuca: traditional Puerto Rico beef fritters

Cocktails of the Month – Rum Apple Martini: apple flavored Puerto Rican rum, sour apple mix and club soda. Rainforest: Coconut Puerto Rican Rum, Light Puerto Rican Rum, Pineapple Juice and blue curacao.

Dessert of the Month – Arroz con Dulce: coconut, rice and mango sauce.

August – Cozumel

August’s grand prize winners will head to the Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa, with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and its crystalline water. This property is an intimate, elegant destination on the beautiful island of Cozumel, set on half mile of white, sandy beach, and surrounded by green vegetation. Winners of the 3-night stay and $300 travel voucher will be notified on September 1, 2013. This month’s featured menu is as follows:

Appetizer of the Month – Toastadas de Camaron: rock shrimp, crispy corn tortilla, avocado and Pico de Gallo.

Cocktails of the Month – Avocado Margarita: Don Julio Premium Silver Tequila, melon liqueur, fresh avocado, agave nectar, fresh lime juice and hibiscus. Paloma: Don Julio Silver Tequila, white grapefruit juice, lime juice and agave nectar.

Dessert of the month – Mexican Chocolate: Mousse with chocolate nib Chantilly crème.
