Sellout expected for Passport at Dry Creek Valley

In Healdsburg, CA from April 28 - 29

This year more than 5,000 guests will be sampling the food and wine of the Bay Area’s Dry Creek Valley during Passport on April 28 – 29. Unless you purchased tickets by early April, there is a good chance you won’t be able attend at all. All 50 participating wineries are offering food and wine pairings – Dry Creek Valley wineries is drawing on Mediterranean, Tuscan, Provencian, and Mexican themes while others focus on disco, rock ‘n roll, and the Wild West.

Michel-Schlumberger’s “Salsa Days” celebrates the Latin flavor of wine country with live music and Mexican cuisine while Alderbrook Winery will host “Viva Las Vegas”, with guest appearances by Lady Luck and Mr. Elvis Presley. Collier Falls Winery’s “Wild West” features chuck wagon-style fare by Zin Restaurant and Wine Bar. DaVero Farms & Winery will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of their organic family farm and will offer their Italian-varietal of wines paired with spit-roasted spring lamb and oven-fresh artisan bread. David Coffaro Vineyard & Winery will provide a “Rock n’Roll” video and sound with large-format showings of new wine releases and concert videos.

Tickets are $120 for a two-day Passport or $70 for Sunday only. For those who don’t have tickets a waiting list is available.  The Healdsburg Art Walk & Wine Tasting will also be open to the public on April 27 from 5 – 9 PM in the town plaza.
